# Matthias Pfister

Matthias is a German and European patent attorney experienced in patent granting procedures, infringement and validity opinions. His technical expertise includes electrical engineering, information and communications technology, electronics, sensing and detection engineering, controller system technology, semiconductors and wind turbines. Prior to becoming a patent attorney, Matthias was involved in research and development for three-axis simulation and control systems for drones, particularly autonomous underwater vehicles, and on predictive collision detection and control systems for robotic arms. For his research, he spent extended periods of time in Japan as well as Denmark.

Before joining HOYNG ROKH MONEGIER, Matthias worked at patent attorney firms in Munich and New York
